This was yet another incredible speech by our president. The President diplomatically rubbed our success in the face of the globalist losers dependent on United States and fired a kill shot at their hopes and dreams of feeding from the trough of unlimited money perpetually restocked by American taxpayers.
The President set the tone: those days are over.
Socialists depend on producers, much like how you depended on your parents when you were an infant. They don’t make their own way, and they don’t possess the education or knowledge to succeed on their own. They depend on global scams like “climate change” that reap labor and property from Americans to power their yachts and custom-made 747s.
The President made Thunberg, who’s in attendance, look like a fool, and made fun of the doom-and-gloomers who perpetuate fear of an apocalypse. The money quote (start at around 25:25 in the video below):
This is not a time for pessimism, this is a time for optimism. Fear and doubt is not a good process; to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their warnings about the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday's foolish fortune tellers. They want to see us do badly, but we won't let that happen. They predicted an overpopulation crisis in the 1960s, mass starvation in the 70s, and the end of oil in the 1990s. These alarmists always demand the same thing: absolute power to dominate, transform, and control every aspect of our lives. We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country, or eradicate our liberty. America will always be the proud, strong, and unyielding bastion of freedom.
I’ve watched how the President approaches the global warming hoax since he was President-elect. He’s very skillful in navigating and steering the hoax narrative back onto the tracks of reality while isolating the crazy. He even had the guy who probably knows more about CO2 than anyone else on he planet as a science adviser. The science is on our side.
The core issue hijacked and morphed by these lunatics is pollution. We need to ensure we have clean air and clean water, a point of agreement by all conservatives and independents, but it was hijacked by the globalist-Marxists over time. President Trump is shining the light back onto that aspect and away from the apocalypse narrative.
Who disagrees that we need to fight pollution? Well, leftists clearly do, but this is yet another winning topic the President has somehow snatched from the Democrats and converted back into our issue. Leftists used to own the baby-murder issue and would trip-up clueless Republicans who couldn’t intellectually navigate. Same with border security. Now he’s taken the issue of the environment and placed it back in the hands of conservatives where it rightfully belongs.
The speech was brilliant and he also touted our energy independence. Trump is the GOAT.
