Brendan Eich fires the kill shot to Google with Brave Search

Let me just say right off the bat, Brendan Eich might be the greatest tech CEO of all time.  I'll throw Elon Musk in the conversation as well, but between those two, they've effectively taken power of critical insfrastructure from the deep-state.

I've written about Elon Musk's endeavors regarding SpaceX and Starlink, so this article is about Eich's new product, Google-killing Brave Search.

Starting today, online users have a new independent option for search which gives them unmatched privacy. Whether they are already Brave browser users, looking to expand their online privacy protection with the all-in-one, integrated Brave Search in the Brave browser, or users of other browsers looking for the best-in-breed privacy-preserving search engine, they can all use the newly released Brave Search beta that puts users first, and fully in control of their online experience. Brave Search is built on top of a completely independent index, and doesn’t track users, their searches, or their clicks.

Thanks for playing Google.

I admit, I have a built-in admiration for Eich because he reminds me of the senior engineers from whom I learned back in the early 1990s when I was a junior programmer in my teens, bugging the senior guys to let me help work on the bigger projects.

I love Eich because he's not deep-state, loves his country, cares about freedom, privacy, and security, and is a brilliant, accomplished guy.  I don't want to brand him with a political label, and I'm sure there's plenty of areas of disagreement, but without question, he's a patriot.

Eich isn't a fake CEO, like Zuckerberg or those Google clowns.  Eich actually wrote code, developed products, and has flawlessly executed on his vision on how the web should work, all without the help of the intelligence agencies.  He's the real deal.

Here's a clip of Eich in an interview.  Can you imagine the other "tech" CEOs talking and speaking like this?:

There's a vast intellectual chasm between Eich and the rest of Silicon Valley, and it shows when he speaks.

You know that thing you're using right now to read this website?  He did that.  Remember Netscape?  Yes, that Netscape.  Ever heard of JavaScript, which gives the web life?  That's him.  Without dispute he's on the Mt. Rushmore of founding fathers of the web.

Sadly, most conservatives have never heard of him, or appreciate what he's done and how he's a fulcrum for keeping the deep-state from controlling the internet, content, news, and communications.  Most of you reading this are still using Google, while surfing with Chrome, and using GMail.

Most conservatives still couldn't care less about their privacy because they don't understand the real issue.  They'll typically say "I have nothing to hide".  True, but more and more conservatives are getting bounced from services like banks, or digital services like MailChimp.  Did you Google about meeting up in D.C. on January 6?  Did you email anyone about it?  It's all fun and games until you're arrested for doing nothing wrong.

People aren't reading your emails, watching the sites you visit, and watching your searches.  AI tech is, and they're making decisions and identifying us for data sharing with the Marxist-controlled woke corporations, and at some point possibly law enforcement.  No biggie until your bank sends you a cancellation notice, or you're prohibited from air travel.

For the love of God, stop using products built by commies who hate you, hate our country, and want to destroy our culture.  Eich provides the solutions that completely cut the deep-state overlords from our digital lives, so there's no excuse to continue supporting the enemy.

Brave has quietly been taking over the internet over the past few years.  Their browser is unmatched for privacy and security and have seen impressive growth.  They're currently at 32.4mm MAU.

They have Tor integration in the browser, pay users with crypto, and have integrated with IPFS, which is a decentralized distributed file system.  All of these are out of reach of commie hands.

As of two days ago, Eich has officially removed control from Google and handed it back to the people.  Sound over-the-top?  Read on.

There have only been two companies with their own search engine and browser: Microsoft and Google.  Brave is the third, and unlike the other two, it's privacy-first.

How did Google get so big?  If you said "intelligence agencies", then yes, but what product launched them to be the biggest internet company?  The answer lies in the question itself: their search engine.  They've gobbled up trillions of search queries over the decades and know at any point in time what trends are breaking and what information people are seeking.

Then GMail hit the scene.  That was another huge move.  It was a free product if you didn't care that their AI scanners read your content and presented ads.  I didn't mind it, but that was before their evil was common knowledge.

Then they released their browser, and it went straight to the top.  At that point, they knew what sites you'd visit, what you search, and what and with whom you communicate.

Microsoft followed suit, albeit lesser quality (a staple of Microsoft), and crappy alternatives like Duck Duck Go came along.  Ever wonder why DDG's search results are the same Marxist crap we've been fed by the others?  It's because they use Bing's index.

All search alternatives (except for Yippy, who DDG took over) use Google's or Bing's index.  Brave is the first to do their own indexing.  This is a major point, and what shifts power back to the people.

Brave has established superiority of the browser, and they're now onto search, with THEIR OWN INDEX.  This not only means search results won't be manipulated by commies, but the way Brave approaches their development, they CAN'T be manipulated.

I heard Eich say something before about how they compare to Google's "Don't be evil" tagline; I can't remember the exact quote, but he said instead of "Don't be evil", they develop for "Can't be evil".  They engineer defense against themselves as a foundation of their products.  Think about that.

I've been using Brave Search today, and I'm very happy with it.  For example, check out Google's search results for "ducey arizona audit".  Compare that with Brave's results.

See the difference?  If you use Brave Search for a while and are still not digging the results, stick with it.  They are building their index, and that takes some time.  Currently, for results where they're skimpy, they're pulling results from the other services anonymously as they beef up.

Brave is the first and only American search engine not dependent on Google or Bing.  Pedo Valley no longer controls internet search.  Google no longer dominates the browser.  Brave has completely neutralized Google.

Meanwhile, Google is trying to salvage third-party cookies in Chrome.  How incredibly lame.  Google was standing on the tracks and just got hit by a locomotive.  Now they're running around town wondering why nobody can hear or see them.

Google has died.
