Sometimes the fish jump into your boat. In a Disqus conversation, Solar correctly posted the following:
All this BS aside, did anyone even notice that all the evidence points to Hillary and a phony dossier designed to steal an election?
Mueller had two years to prove Russian collusion, and he did, inadvertently, indicting Hillary, whether it can be be proven Obama was involved will come out in the soon to come investigation.
An uninformed clown posted the following response to Solar, which I'll break down.
Sorry dude, but none of the evidence points to HRC.
Remember the 1980s commercial where a kid is doing something stupid and the father asks the kid where he learned it, and the kid replies “I learned it from watching you!”. In this scenario, the kid is the genius who made this reply and the father is Rachael Maddow.
Like any Clinton scandal, the evidence is overwhelming. First, motive. She would be the most powerful person in the world versus the impending avalanche of skeletons, figuratively and literally, pouring out of her closet and onto the front door steps of the DOJ. She either ends up in the Oval Office, or a cell.
Hillary is not only responsible for the dossier, she's also responsible for the origination of Crossfire Hurricane.
You've just been suckered into believing that by propagandists working for the fake news channel.
This is an indicator the poster has absolutely no knowledge of the subject matter he or she is parroting. It's also funny because I know for a fact Solar doesn't watch cable news.
"The FBI’s investigation originated with George Papadopoulos, not Christopher Steele.
This is really interesting because Papadopoulous and Downer met May 10, 2016. Downer said he reported the meeting the next day or so. Crossfire Hurricane was launched on July 31, 2016 -- almost three months after the meeting with Downer.
Downer admitted that Papadopoulous didn't mention anything beyond the Russians having material on Hillary -- nothing about emails. What did Papadopoulos say that was so critical for an investigation, two months later?
We’ve known since December 2017 that the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign began in July 2016 -- months before the FBI was even alerted to the existence of the Steele dossier. […]
How? There was no intelligence product (Five Eyes) used by the FBI. From where did this intelligence originate to launch an official FBI investigation, in the middle of a hot political campaign on one of the candidates, no less? Also, Papadopolous wasn't even interviewed until after the election. If you're going to launch an investigation on a guy colluding with shady Russians and a presidential candidate, wouldn't you snatch the guy up and interview him before the election? Wouldn't you warn the candidate?
You don’t have to take the Times’s word for it. Even the so-called 'Nunes memo,' prepared by then-House Intelligence Committee chair and staunch Trump ally Devin Nunes (R-CA) and released about a year ago, acknowledges that the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign was 'triggered' by evidence presented to American officials about Papadopoulos having secretive contacts with Kremlin agents when it was released about a year ago.
Well, that's going to make this tweet awkward:
Hillary's henchmen, Cody Shearer and Sydney Blumenthal, have been passing information to the State Department that made its way to the FBI. When Downer reported the meeting with Papadopoulos, who received the information? Elizabeth Dibble, one of Hillary's cronies from the Clinton Foundation. Again, Hillary. Her money, her people, her presidency.
In short, the Russia investigation would have existed even if the Steele dossier never did. But Trump and Fox News are not about to let the facts get in the way of their preferred narrative."
They didn't have any evidence or intelligence to launch an investigation in the first place. Hillary just paid for the dossier to give the media something to use in the background while the investigations, using the material and media narratives she spread, could be used to justify an investigation.
Hillary is in real trouble. We've known she's part of this for a while.
