New York Attorney General Letitia James has announced that they are launching an investigation into unauthorized Facebook data collection.
James says they are looking into Facebook’s collection of 1.5 million of their users’ email contact databases. She added that while Facebook has confirmed 1.5 million were affected by its email verification process, the total number of people whose information was improperly obtained could be in the hundreds of millions.
